Job summary

Reyes Fleet Management in East Point, GA is seeking Diesel Mechanics / Fleet Technician A to diagnose, rebuild and repair fleet equipment including tractors, trailers, and refrigeration units. You will document repairs in the Enterprise Asset Management system and work with diagnostic tools to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems.

The role requires a High School Diploma/GED, own tools, and a valid driver's license; a CDL A is highly desired and may be mandatory in some

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years experience in fleet maintenance.
• Own tools, valid driver's license, and DOT-compliant driving record.
• CDL A highly desired; mandatory in some locations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, rebuild and repair fleet equipment (tractors, trailers, refrigeration units).
• Document work orders and repairs in the Enterprise Asset Management system.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using diagnostic technology.
• Perform complex inspections and repairs with minimal supervision.
• Adhere to DOT/OSHA and Reyes safety policies and procedures; use PPE.
• May drive Reyes vehicles; maintain DOT qualification files; possible travel.
• Other duties as assigned.

Reyes Fleet Management, 1 of the largest privately held fleets in the U.S., is seeking several Diesel Mechanics / Fleet Technician A's at our Martin Brower facility in East Point, GA.

Shift:

Sunday 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday - Thursday 10:30am-7:00pm

Pay

$33.00 - $38.00/hr, Based on experience/qualifications

Position Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, rebuild and repair fleet equipment (tractors, trailers, refrigeration units, and related parts)
• Complete thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventative maintenance through the online Enterprise Asset Management system
• Diagnoses complex mechanical and electric problems utilizing diagnostic technology/software when applicable
• Completes complex and detailed mechanical inspections and repairs with minimal supervision
• Adhere to all company, local, state, and federal polices and regulations including DOT, OSHA, and Reyes Fleet Management standards, while ensuring compliance with safety programs, correct selection and use of appropriate tools, PPE, machine guarding, and established best safety practices
• This position may require driving Reyes Family of Businesses, Reyes Fleet Management and customer vehicles, it is regulated by the DOT and requires a current driver qualification file to be maintained as required by the role. The Driver Qualification file includes: an annual motor vehicle records (MVR) check, a successfully completed DOT Physical, and Safety Performance History records request from prior employers in the last three years. Additionally, CDL holders will have a DOT Drug Screening within 30 days of start and subject to a FMSCA Clearinghouse review
• Some travel may be required

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED) with 3 plus years of related experience
• Must possess own tools
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations to operate applicable company vehicles
• Valid CDL (License A) is highly desired; mandatory in some locations
• Ability to frequently lift, push and/or pull weights in excess of 50 pounds, occasionally lift, push and/or pull weights in excess of 100 pounds
