Job description

SHIFTS AVAILABLE :

1st - 6 : 00AM-2 : 30PM

2nd - 2 : 00PM-10 : 30PM

3rd - 10 : 00PM-6 : 30AM

PAY RANGE : $30-37/hr DOE

JOB DESCRIPTION :

• Repair and service various ground service equipment at the airport: tow tractors, baggage carts, buses, trucks, and service vans.
• Perform outdoor repairs and replacements on equipment.
• Maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical machinery.
• Inspect ground support vehicles and equipment to determine repair needs.
• Troubleshoot issues with vehicles and machinery to perform repairs.
• Track and document repairs, inventory parts and tools.
• Use hand and power tools for repairs.
• Read repair manuals for various vehicles and equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 3 years of diesel mechanic experience.
• Experience troubleshooting, repairing, replacing, and installing equipment.
• Rebuild experience is a plus.
• Experience with oil changes, filter changes, brakes, tires, lighting, etc.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, engines, transmissions, suspensions, alternators, etc.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and diagrams.
• Own tools required.

Pay and Benefits

Pay range: $30.00 - $32.00 / hr.
