Objective:

Technicians will repair and service heavy/larg capacity material handling equipment such as Taylor, Toyota Pettibone, Combilift, etc. This includes diesel/gas and LP engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical troubleshooting, and repairs according to manufacturer specifications, using hand and power tools. Technicians will disassemble units to inspect condition, replace defective parts, and reassemble and test operation.

Eligible Locations: Denver and Salt Lake City

  • Compensation: $28 - $43 per hour
  • Repair of heavy-duty forklifts and equipment such as Taylor, Toyota THD, Hyster, Yale, Genie, JCB, JLG, Pettibone, Moffett, Princeton, telehandlers, boom lifts, container handlers, scissor lifts, straddle carriers, ATVs, etc.
  • Travel to customer locations in a company-provided service vehicle to perform onsite repairs. Keep customers informed of progress.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and submit repair quotes.
  • Diagnose and repair hydraulic and electrical systems, including replacing hoses, cylinders, pumps, valves, and electrical components.
  • Repair and adjust subassemblies and attachments such as fork positioners, side shift assemblies, pallet clamps, gantries, limit switches, proximity sensors.
  • Prepare heavy equipment for transport, including replacing carriage assemblies.
  • Utilize Cummins Insite and other diesel diagnostic programs.
  • Maintain repair trucks and parts stock, observe warranty procedures.
  • Report safety issues and customer concerns to the Service Manager.
  • Track daily repair times and ensure correct invoicing.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • Strong mechanical skills and knowledge
  • Experience with diesel engines and Cummins Insite is a plus
