Job summary

R+L Carriers in China Grove, NC is seeking a Diesel Mechanic for the 3rd shift (12:00 am to 10:30 am) to maintain Class 8 trucks, trailers, and related equipment.

You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs, using your own tools, and may handle welding and door hardware depending on location.

The position offers full-time hours, a strong benefits package, vacation after 90 days, and eligibility for company resorts.

Qualifications

• Experience with preventive maintenance and diesel engines.
• Ability to perform major repairs and repairs on AC and electrical.
• Must have own tools and be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day maintenance on Class 8 trucks and trailers.

Diesel Mechanic-$31.14 - $37.60/hr.

Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 3 rd shift 12:00 am to 10:30 am

Job Description: R+L Carriers has an immediate opportunity for Diesel Mechanics at our China Grove, NC Service Center. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for day-to-day equipment maintenance on our fleet equipment consisting of preventative maintenance and minor to major repairs to Class 8 trucks, trailers, and potentially forklifts. This can include maintaining trailers, overhead doors, lift gates, dollies, welding depending on location.

Requirements

• Experience in preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel engines
• Must be able to handle major repairs
• Experience with AC and Electrical
• Have the ability to lift 50lbs
• Must have own tools
• 2+ Years of Diesel Mechanic experience preferred
• Experience in preventive maintenance of Cummins & Detroit engines
• Experience using Cetaris used for work orders
• Experience in Trailer PMs and repairs
