Air Products in Cleveland, OH is seeking an energetic Vehicle/Fleet Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on trailers and tractors, with documentation of work performed electronically. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, team collaboration with drivers and operations, and a commitment to safety at all times.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/equivalent.
• Strong mechanical background, with above average computer experience/skills.
• Energetic, highly motivated and well organized, self-starter with strong commitment to safety.
• Strong team player with ability to work well with fellow mechanics/drivers/operations personnel.
• Solid work history.
• Ability to drive a tractor.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs as necessary on trailers and tractors.
• Document/record work performed electronically on the computer.
• Perform road repairs when necessary.
• Perform cryogenic pump maintenance.
• Perform electrical/electronic repairs and installs on tractors and trailers.
• Calibrate pump discharge meters.
• Minor welding and fabricating as required.
