Qualifications

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years as a Tradesman Helper working in the automotive field, or graduation from a post-high school diesel technology curriculum, or an equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

Repair and overhauls of vehicles and heavy equipment while learning proper techniques.
Participate in preventative maintenance on engines, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and learn repair methods.
Assist with safety and emissions inspections and prepare required forms.
Learn safe work habits and proper use of protective equipment.
Participate in routine adjustments and minor repairs to ensure equipment operates safely.
