Job summary
Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking an experienced Mechanic in Washington to maintain, diagnose, and repair diesel trucks and heavy equipment. You will work on gas and diesel vehicles, applying strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge to diagnose and repair issues safely and efficiently.
The role requires hands-on experience with diesel trucks and heavy equipment, with pay range $25.00-$30.00 per hour DOE.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with diesel trucks is required.
- Experience with heavy equipment is required.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Responsibilities
- Inspect diesel trucks and heavy equipment to identify issues and plan repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance and brake, tire, and other service tasks.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using diagnostic tools.
- Repair and replace components such as engines, hydraulics, brakes, suspension.
- Perform tire installation, balancing, rotation, and related services.
- Maintain accurate repair and maintenance records.
- Work independently and with teammates while following safety procedures.
