Qualifications

• Welding experience is required.
• Ability to earn or possess DOT Inspector certification and a Class A CDL.
• Experience repairing heavy trucks, trailers, or commercial equipment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of trucks, trailers, and commercial equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Complete inspections and ensure equipment meets DOT and safety standards.
• Weld and fabricate components as needed.
• Maintain accurate repair records using a computer or laptop.
• Monitor shop inventory and assist with parts organization.
• Keep the shop clean, organized, and safety-focused.
