Job summary

Ziegler Inc. invites aspiring technicians to join their internship program in Bloomington, MN. You will assist with diagnosing and repairing heavy diesel engines and equipment, under the guidance of senior technicians, in a shop setting.

Through scholarship money and paid internships, you’ll gain real-world mechanical skills, maintain a safe work environment, and develop as a team player while preparing for a career in diesel and heavy equipment mechanics.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a 2-year program in diesel engine mechanics, construction and/or agricultural equipment mechanics or related study.
• Maintain good grades.
• Receive positive recommendations from instructors.
• Own mechanic tool set and be able to maintain a safe, clean workspace.

Responsibilities

• Assist in troubleshooting and repairing heavy diesel engines and equipment in a shop environment.
• Learn from senior technicians through hands-on mentoring.
• Respond to customer needs in a positive, timely manner to ensure value for work performed.
