Job summary

Power Plus is seeking Generator Service Technicians to maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and test generators from 5 kW to 4000 kW while delivering best-in-class service.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of diesel generator experience and strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, with a background in customer-facing service and field work. OSHA safety standards apply, and travel or on-call rotations may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of diesel generator experience.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude in diesel generators.
• Technical schooling in automotive or transportation related fields.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and travel as needed.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely according to OSHA.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and test 5kw – 4000kw generator systems.
• Interact with customers.
• Fill out paperwork accurately.
• Read and apply technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
