Job summary
United Airlines is seeking experienced Ground Service Equipment Technicians to troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative maintenance on motorized and non-motorized ground support equipment. A valid driver’s license and a 2-year track record in engine, electrical, and hydraulic systems are required.

Qualifications
- 24 months of experience with troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of gas and diesel engines, electrical and hydraulic systems, and motorized equipment.
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent required.
- Valid state driver’s license required.
- Ability to work any shift in a 24/7 operation and lift moderate loads.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair and complete preventative maintenance on Ground Service Equipment (motorized and non-motorized).
- Diagnose and repair gas engines, transmissions, suspension, and brake systems.
- Repair diesel engines and large airport ground equipment such as A/C units and power units.
- Work is conducted in a union-represented environment; schedules are seniority-based.
