Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician with 3+ years of experience in repairing and maintaining light-duty to heavy-duty vehicles. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and conduct preventative maintenance on Ford, Chevrolet, and GMC models in an in-office setting.

The role requires strong diagnostic skills, electrical troubleshooting, and the ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven experience repairing and maintaining light-duty to heavy-duty vehicles.
• Experience working on Ford, Chevrolet, and GMC vehicles.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to provide personal hand tools required for vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Ability to work overtime, occasional weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair gasoline and diesel-powered vehicles.
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and safety checks.
• Repair engines, fuel systems, steering and suspension components, electrical systems, brakes, driveline components, and air conditioning systems.
• Utilize computerized diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve vehicle issues.
• Complete repair documentation accurately and timely using company systems.
• Record labor, parts, and equipment usage for billing purposes.
• Test drive vehicles to verify repair quality and performance.
• Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and company standards.
• Communicate effectively with management regarding schedules, repair progress, and priorities.
• Assist and mentor fellow technicians when needed.
