Job summary

TeamChevrolet Cadillac Mazda, part of the Del Grande Dealer Group (DGDG), is seeking an Experienced Automotive Diesel Technician to deliver a world-class service experience by inspecting and repairing diesel-powered vehicles.

You will diagnose and repair diesel systems, perform multi-point inspections, and communicate with Service Advisors to ensure manufacturer standards are met. A strong background in diesel diagnosis and repair plus ASE/CDK familiarity is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of automotive repair and diagnostic experience.
• Hands-on diesel diagnosis and repair experience required.
• Journeyman-level technician experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostic tools and repair equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle concerns and perform repairs accurately and efficiently.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems, including diesel engines, transmissions, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
• Perform multi-point inspections and test-drive vehicles as needed.
• Use diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment to identify and troubleshoot vehicle issues.
• Complete repair orders in accordance with dealership policies and manufacturer standards.
• Communicate with Service Advisors regarding recommended repairs and additional services.
