Job summary

The Fleet Trailer Technician is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing Nutrition 101 LLC’s fleet to keep vehicles safe, reliable and in optimal working condition. This role helps prevent costly repairs, extends vehicle lifespan, and minimizes downtime by keeping the fleet in peak condition.

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without current or future immigration sponsorship.

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years in diesel engine repair, fleet maintenance, or heavy equipment mechanics
• Valid driver's license; CDL preferred or ability to obtain
• Ability to read and interpret service manuals and schematics
• Experience with diagnostic software and tools

Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections on fleet vehicles to identify wear and safety issues
• Use diagnostic tools to assess mechanical and electrical problems and ensure accurate repairs
• Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid level checks
• Repair or replace defective components including engines, brakes, electrical and HVAC systems
• Maintain detailed service records for each vehicle and ensure compliance documentation
• Respond to emergency repair requests and provide roadside services when possible
• Coordinate with fleet managers and drivers on maintenance schedules
