Pepin Distributing Company, LLC in Tampa, FL is seeking a Fleet Technician to perform repair and preventative maintenance on diesel and non-diesel tractors and trailers. Qualifications

• 2–5 years of diesel mechanic experience on commercial trucks and/or trailers.
• Strong knowledge of Cummins software systems.
• Able to communicate clearly and listen attentively.
• Have or pursue a Class-A CDL, preferred.
• Must have your own tools and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and preventive maintenance of tractors, trailers, and other equipment.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform maintenance on equipment.
• Run road calls to complete repairs on the road, if necessary.
• Test repaired trucks on the road to verify conformance to specifications.
• Maintain a checklist and accurate files for each truck.
• Keep service truck stocked to facilitate road calls.
• Assist outside vendors on yard fleet inspections/maintenance.
