Reyes Fleet Management, a Reyes Holdings company, is seeking a Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician A to repair and maintain tractors, trailers, and related equipment at our Redding shop. The role may require travel and a DOT-compliant driver file, with one Sunday per month at the Eureka shop where Fridays off apply during those weeks.

The position offers full-time hours, competitive hourly pay, and benefits such as PTO, holidays, and a 401K plan.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years of related experience.
• CDL (Class A) license is highly desired; mandatory in some locations.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR in line with DOT requirements.
• Technical School Certification is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose, rebuild and repair fleet equipment (tractors, trailers, refrigeration units, and related parts).
• Complete thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventative maintenance through the online Enterprise Asset Management system.
• Diagnose complex mechanical and electric problems using diagnostic tools where applicable.
• Complete complex inspections and repairs with minimal supervision.
• Comply with DOT, OSHA and Reyes Fleet Management safety standards and use of PPE and tools properly.
• Possess a valid CDL (License A) as required by location; may require DOT drug screening and MVR checks.
• May involve driving Reyes Family of Businesses vehicles; some travel may be required.
• Other projects or duties as assigned.
