Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician C in Huntsville, AL, reporting to a Lead Technician or Maintenance Supervisor. You will perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment, support drivers on routes, and work with state-of-the-art vehicles to ensure reliability.

Requirements include 1-3 years of experience and a valid driver’s license. Certifications such as a certified diesel maintenance program and ASE T8 PM are a plus.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience.
• Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program is a plus but not required.
• ASE Certification T8 PM is a plus but not required.
• Valid Driver’s License is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a basic knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems to perform preventive maintenance and some repair functions.
• Performs preventive maintenance inspections, oil changes, fluid replenishment, light repairs, tire changes, and basic electrical work; conducts visual inspections to identify issues.
• Completes applicable Company training programs.
