Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• CDL preferred but not required.
• 3 years of fleet maintenance experience or 2 years of schooling plus 1 year experience.
• Experience with heavy-duty truck systems and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance to maximize safety, reliability, and cost efficiency of fleet.
• Perform annual inspections (FAI/CVI) on all fleet vehicles per regulatory requirements.
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections on tractors, trailers, and other equipment.
• Perform repairs to ensure safety and reliability of fleet vehicles.
• Document work on work orders and learn Sysco computer programs.

Annual Inspector Certification

Brake Inspector Certification

ASE certifications (Preferred)

609 HVAC Certification
