Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking an Apprentice Fleet Technician to support Fleet Technician II & III. You will learn preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on tractors, trailers, dollies, and lift-gates to improve safety and reduce downtime.

The role offers a 2nd shift with pay up to $23.50–$28.89 per hour based on experience, plus a $2 shift differential and annual boot and tool allowance, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2-year heavy/medium-duty truck technical training preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Learn to perform inspections and preventive maintenance under guidance to maximize safety and reliability.
• Learn to perform FAI/CVI inspections on fleet vehicles and equipment per regulations.
• Learn to perform quality maintenance and repairs under supervision.
• Document all work on work orders with clear fault, cause and correction.
