Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking a diesel/trailer mechanic in Wisconsin to inspect, repair, and maintain diesel trucks and trailers ensuring safety and performance. The role requires 2+ years of experience and solid knowledge of trailer systems, brakes, suspension, electrical, and hydraulics.

CDL or certifications are a plus but not required. The position involves lifting heavy equipment and contributes to a safety-focused work environment with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a diesel and/or trailer mechanic.
• Strong knowledge of trailer systems, brakes, suspension, electrical, and hydraulics.
• CDL or certifications are a plus but not required.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment—this isn’t a desk job.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and maintain diesel trucks and trailers to meet safety and performance standards.
• Diagnose and fix diesel engine issues—from minor tune-ups to major overhauls.
• Perform routine maintenance like oil changes, filter replacements, and brake inspections.
• Troubleshoot and repair trailer systems, including brakes, suspension, lighting, and hydraulics.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and keep accurate maintenance records.
