Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking an experienced diesel/trailer mechanic for our client to inspect, repair, and maintain diesel trucks and trailers to meet safety and performance standards.

You will diagnose engine issues, perform routine maintenance, and troubleshoot trailer systems. CDL or certifications are a plus but not required, and a strong teamwork and safety mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience as a diesel and/or trailer mechanic.
• Strong knowledge of trailer systems, brakes, suspension, electrical, and hydraulics.
• CDL or certifications are a plus but not required.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
• A team player with a commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and maintain diesel trucks and trailers to ensure safety and performance standards.
• Diagnose and fix diesel engine issues—from minor tune-ups to major overhauls.
• Perform routine maintenance like oil changes, filter replacements, and brake inspections.
• Troubleshoot and repair trailer systems, including brakes, suspension, lighting, and hydraulics.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and keep accurate maintenance records.
