Quality Talent Group is seeking a diesel/trailer mechanic in Dodge, Wisconsin to inspect, repair and maintain diesel trucks and trailers. The role focuses on safety, performance, and regulatory compliance, with opportunities to work on brakes, suspension, electrical and hydraulics.

Ideal candidates bring 5–7 years of diesel/trailer mechanic experience, knowledge of trailer systems, and a team-oriented attitude. CDL or certifications are a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience as a diesel and/or trailer mechanic.
• Strong knowledge of trailer systems, brakes, suspension, electrical, and hydraulics.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment – this isn’t a desk job.
• A team player with a commitment to quality and safety.
• CDL or certifications are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and maintain diesel trucks and trailers to ensure safety and performance standards.
• Diagnose and fix diesel engine issues—from minor tune-ups to major overhauls.
• Troubleshoot and repair trailer systems, including brakes, suspension, lighting, and hydraulics.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and keep accurate maintenance records.
• Perform routine maintenance like oil changes, filter replacements, and brake inspections.
