Job summary

Stivers Ford South Union City is seeking an experienced Diesel/Fleet Technician to join its busy service department in Atlanta. The role focuses on diesel, commercial, and fleet vehicle repairs and diagnostics for Ford Super Duty trucks and fleet vehicles.

You will work in a fast-paced shop with a strong workflow, perform maintenance, use factory scan tools, and follow Ford procedures to ensure quality repairs the first time.

Qualifications

• Professional automotive technician experience required.
• Diesel experience preferred; willing to train the right candidate.
• Experience with Ford trucks/Super Duty is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair diesel-powered vehicles.
• Perform service on Ford Super Duty and commercial fleets.
• Diagnose diesel engine performance concerns.
• Maintain and repair fleet vehicles.
• Repair brakes, suspension, steering, and drivetrain.
• Diagnose electrical/electronic systems.
• Diagnose fuel and emissions systems; perform repairs.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections on fleets.
• Repair engine, transmission, driveline components.
• Use factory scan tools to identify concerns.
