Job summary

Amerit Fleet Solutions in Sidney, OH is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician/Mechanic to maintain and repair medium to heavy-duty fleet vehicles. You’ll diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, complete work orders, and keep a clean, organized workspace in a mobile/shop setting.

Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on diesel vehicle maintenance and repairs.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to own and maintain personal tools and toolbox.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Willingness to meet physical demands and pass screenings (DOT if required).

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on medium to heavy-duty fleet vehicles.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
Conduct inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
Document repairs and complete work orders accurately.
