Job summary

Workforce Services in Portland, OR is seeking an experienced Automotive Diesel Mechanic to join our fleet service team. The role offers $43-50+ per hour DOE with full benefits and weekly pay.

You will diagnose, maintain, and repair diesel and gas-powered trucks and vans, perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections, and keep accurate service records. A valid driver's license and own tools are required, with 3-4 years' experience in diesel or fleet maintenance.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years' experience as a diesel or fleet mechanic.
• GED or High School Diploma.
• Valid driver's license and own tools.
• Must pass background check.
• Strong accountability and customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair diesel and gas-powered trucks, vans, and medium/heavy duty vehicles
• Preventive maintenance and DOT inspections
• Perform test drives and make system adjustments as needed
• Maintain accurate service records and manage shop equipment
• Conduct field repairs in various weather conditions
