Job summary

FedEx Freight is seeking a Mechanic/Technician in Henderson, CO to maintain diesel tractors, trailers, forklifts, and related equipment. You will perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs with attention to safety and documentation.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED, with preference for ASE certifications and apprentice program completion; CDL may be required depending on duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One year experience maintaining vehicles or completion of FedEx Freight Apprentice Program.
• One or more Medium/Heavy Truck ASE Certifications and Class A CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative and routine maintenance on tractors, trailers, forklifts, and other equipment.
• Performs basic diagnostics to identify trouble and adjust equipment for safe operation.
• Works with other technicians on preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Documents maintenance in writing and electronically.
