Job summary

Swire Coca-Cola is seeking a full-time Fleet Technician in Sparks, NV to maintain diesel fleet equipment, perform inspections and diagnostics, and ensure vehicle readiness for service. You will troubleshoot, repair, and oversee preventive maintenance to keep trucks on the road.

Schedule: 2nd Shift 11:00am - 7:30pm, Mon - Fri. Pay: $30.00 - $33.00/HR DOE. Join a large bottler and distributor of Coca-Cola brands with strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or GED) required.
• 2+ years diagnostic, maintenance and repair of Class 7 & 8 diesel trucks and trailers required.
• Own set of tools and understanding how to use required tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain diesel equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements.
• Determine vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests.
• Keep equipment available for use by completing preventive maintenance schedules.
• Correct vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub‑assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
