Job summary

Swire Coca-Cola is hiring a full-time Fleet Technician for a 2nd shift position in Sparks, NV. You will perform maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on our medium to heavy-duty diesel trucks and trailers to keep the fleet on the road.

The role requires a High School Diploma (or GED) with 2-4 years of diesel truck experience; ASE certification is preferred and tools are provided by you. We offer extensive benefits and opportunities for growth within a family-owned company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or GED) required.
• ASE Certified Diesel Mechanic preferred.
• 2-4 years diagnostic, maintenance and repair of Class 7 & 8 diesel trucks and trailers required.
• Own set of tools and understanding the best practice for how to use required tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain diesel equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements.
• Determine vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests.
• Keep equipment available for use by completing preventive maintenance schedules.
• Correct vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education
