Position Details:
- Shift: Sunday - Thursday OR Tuesday - Saturday (1 weekend day required)
- Pay: $32.00 - $39.00 per hour, based on experience and certifications

Job Summary: To ensure safe, reliable, and cost-efficient vehicles by performing preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs, diagnosing and fixing issues to prevent breakdowns, reduce downtime, and improve fleet reliability.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform inspections and preventive maintenance within planned timeframes to maximize safety and reliability.
- Conduct annual inspections (FAI/CVI) on all fleet vehicles, including tractors, trailers, and other equipment, complying with all legal and regulatory standards.
- Perform quality repairs and preventive maintenance on various fleet vehicles and equipment, including refrigeration units.
- Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs per manufacturer specifications, covering engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brake systems, HVAC, and hydraulic systems.
- Address driver reports promptly and efficiently.
- Mentor and share expertise with junior technicians; may perform supervisory roles when necessary.
- Proficient in electrical testing, control systems, and welding as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)
- 5 years of fleet maintenance experience or technical training in medium/heavy-duty trucks
- Relevant certifications such as ASE, EPA Section 608/609, Brake Inspector, etc.
Skills and Abilities:
- Expertise in vehicle systems, electrical and refrigeration diagnosis and repair
- Moderate welding, computer, and regulatory knowledge
- Own tools required for diagnostics and repairs
Physical and Working Conditions:
- Frequent physical activity including lifting up to 100 lbs, standing, walking, and working outdoors
- Work hours may include evenings, nights, weekends, and travel as needed
- Exposure to various environmental conditions and mechanical hazards
