Rumpke Waste and Recycling in Bloomington, IN, is seeking a Vehicle Maintenance Repair Technician to keep our fleet safe and reliable. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy trucks, perform routine maintenance, and ensure fluids, brakes, and electrical systems are up to spec.

Responsibilities include following maintenance schedules, documenting work, and communicating with customers and team members. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available, with a schedule Monday through Friday, 12 PM to 10 PM.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with heavy trucks and diesel engines preferred.
• Ability to read and follow maintenance manuals and schematics.
• Must pass pre-employment testing.

Responsabilidades

• Perform repair and maintenance of fleet vehicles per schedules and/or DVIRs.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues and perform repairs.
• Replace components, fluids, and filters as needed.
• Inspect electrical, air, and brake systems for proper operation.
• Perform roadside repairs when qualified.
• Maintain accurate records of time, maintenance orders, and parts usage.
