Qualifications

• Diesel or medium/heavy-duty truck experience required.
• Own hand tools needed for on-field maintenance.
• Valid driver's license with a clean MVR required; road-test what you fix.
• Able to pass a background check and a drug screen.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on trucks undercarriage.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on a fleet of fuel delivery trucks (PM services, brakes, tires, air systems, lights, batteries, DEF and aftertreatment).
• Diagnose and repair diesel engine and chassis issues, and know when to farm out.
• Conduct and document DOT annual inspections and maintain clean maintenance files.
• Service delivery equipment: meters, registers, pumps, hoses, reels and emergency shutoffs.
• Get trucks back on the road quickly, especially during winter readiness (fuel gelling, block heaters, batteries, tires).
• Maintain safety and work order records and participate in pre-employment screenings as required.
