Job summary

Cemex US is seeking an experienced Mechanic to diagnose and repair diesel tractors, trailers, and other wheeled equipment. You will perform scheduled maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

This role requires a high school diploma, 3 years of related experience, and a valid driver's license. Some regional travel may be required as part of the job responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years related experience, training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle problems and repair according to generally accepted methods.
• Discuss extensive or difficult repairs with Terminal Manager or Supervisor.
• Demonstrate and enforce CEMEX safety policies and regulations to all mechanics.
• Perform routine scheduled maintenance outlined on PM checklist sheets.
• Repair electrical systems and circuitry in accordance with industry standards.

Skills

High school diploma or equivalent

3 years related experience or training

Bi-lingual Spanish a plus

Valid Driver's License; CDL preferred

Forklift certification
