Job summary
Sysco Fargo seeks a skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on company vehicles to keep them safe and reliable. The role emphasizes diagnosing issues, completing required inspections, and following manufacturer specifications.
Strong experience with heavy-duty trucks and electrical systems is preferred. Position offers $27.21/hour, full-time hours, shift to be discussed, and benefits including health plans and an annual tool allowance.
Qualifications
- Formal training in medium/heavy-duty truck systems and maintenance.
- Experience with inspections and preventive maintenance per regulations.
- Ability to diagnose and repair a range of vehicle systems per OEM specs.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections and preventive maintenance to maximize safety and reliability.
- Conduct annual inspections (FAI/CVI) on fleet vehicles per regulations.
- Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs on engines, drivetrains, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Document work on orders and learn Sysco computer programs.
- Operate and maintain diagnostic equipment and welding tools as needed.
