Job summary

Flying Star is seeking a skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician to service our fleet of diesel trucks in Amarillo. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment to keep drivers moving and costs under control, while upholding safety and organization in the shop.

Qualifications

• 1-year minimum in motor carrier maintenance.
• Knowledge of Class 8 trucks and trailers.
• Must be able to read and speak English.
• Experience with maintaining inventory and maintenance records preferred.
• Willing to take on an on-call schedule for after-hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair equipment to keep our fleet productive.
• Control costs by efficient, proactive repairs.
• Maintain a neat, safe, and organized shop and equipment.
