SRM Concrete is seeking a Fleet Mechanic to maintain and repair diesel engine equipment and heavy trucks at our Kentucky operations. You’ll diagnose, repair, and service mixer trucks, loaders, and other fleet vehicles to ensure safety and on-time deliveries.

Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply with on‑the‑job training available. CDL is required, and a strong safety mindset is essential for this role.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational or technical certification in diesel engine repair is a plus.
• Experience as a diesel mechanic, fleet mechanic, or heavy equipment technician is beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines and equipment (oil changes, lubrication, filter replacements).
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in mixer trucks and heavy equipment.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
• Rebuild, replace, or repair major components such as engine heads, blocks, starters, and transmissions.
• Collaborate with operations to schedule maintenance and minimize downtime.
• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed in workshop and on job sites.
• Keep accurate maintenance records in company systems.
• Stay updated on diesel engine technology and repair techniques.
