Job summary

GSI Service Group Inc. seeks a Fleet Mechanic in Hawaii to maintain and repair a diverse range of vehicles and equipment. You will work in a small team of 1-3 mechanics, report to the Operations Supervisor, and handle routine and emergency repairs to keep fleet operations safe and efficient.

Expect occasional travel to off-site locations to support operational demands; bring CDL and diesel/mechanical expertise to the team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in vehicle maintenance.
• Technical diploma in automotive or diesel mechanics.
• CDL preferred.
• Expertise in diesel engine repair and automotive diagnostics.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and preventive maintenance.
• Proficient in tool operation, problem solving, and attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance and engine repair on diverse equipment brands.
• Conduct diagnostic testing and troubleshooting to identify mechanical issues.
• Service hydraulic systems and manage preventive maintenance schedules.
• Handle tools safely and maintain compliance with safety standards.
• Replace faulty parts and ensure proper record keeping of repairs.
• Support both routine maintenance and emergency repair duties.
