Job summary

NFI is seeking a diesel mechanic in North Carolina to diagnose, repair, and maintain a dedicated fleet. You will use JPRO, OEM software, multimeters, and Windows-based tools to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues and perform preventive maintenance on tractors and trailers.

The role requires a valid driver’s license with a preference for Class B, a technical degree or equivalent maintenance experience, and strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license.
• Prefer Class B license.
• Technical or advanced degree or 2+ years maintenance experience.
• Familiar with JPRO, OEM software and diagnostic tools.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical issues using diagnostic tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tractors and trailers.
• Complete DOT inspections per FMCSA guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 lbs and maintain flexible movement to reach equipment.
