Diesel Fleet Mechanic
Nielsen's Arc Service is expanding our heavy‑equipment and fleet maintenance division, and we’re looking for a skilled mechanic who can keep our trucks, service rigs, and support equipment running strong. - Diagnose, repair, and maintain company fleet vehicles (diesel & gas)
- Perform preventative maintenance and DOT‑required inspections
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, cooling, and fuel systems
- Repair and maintain service trucks, pickups, trailers, and shop equipment
- Maintain accurate service logs and repair documentation
- Collaborate with welders, fabricators, and field techs to support ongoing projects
- Ensure safety standards and shop protocols are followed at all times
- 3+ years experience as a diesel or fleet mechanic (preferred)
- Strong diagnostic skills with electrical & mechanical systems
- Experience with Ford, Dodge, Chevy, and diesel engines (Powerstroke, Cummins, Duramax)
- Familiar with hydraulic systems and PTO setups
- Ability to weld or fabricate is a bonus (not required)
- Must be reliable, safety‑minded, and able to work independently
- Valid driver’s license required (CDL preferred but not required)
