Diesel Fleet Mechanic

Nielsen's Arc Service is expanding our heavy‑equipment and fleet maintenance division, and we’re looking for a skilled mechanic who can keep our trucks, service rigs, and support equipment running strong. • Diagnose, repair, and maintain company fleet vehicles (diesel & gas)
• Perform preventative maintenance and DOT‑required inspections
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, cooling, and fuel systems
• Repair and maintain service trucks, pickups, trailers, and shop equipment
• Maintain accurate service logs and repair documentation
• Collaborate with welders, fabricators, and field techs to support ongoing projects
• Ensure safety standards and shop protocols are followed at all times

• 3+ years experience as a diesel or fleet mechanic (preferred)
• Strong diagnostic skills with electrical & mechanical systems
• Experience with Ford, Dodge, Chevy, and diesel engines (Powerstroke, Cummins, Duramax)
• Familiar with hydraulic systems and PTO setups
• Ability to weld or fabricate is a bonus (not required)
• Must be reliable, safety‑minded, and able to work independently
• Valid driver’s license required (CDL preferred but not required)
