Job summary

JOBSTODAY.WORLD is seeking experienced Diesel Mechanics to maintain and repair trucks, buses, and heavy-duty fleet vehicles across multiple on-site locations in the United States. The position offers a competitive salary range of $50,000 to $80,000 per year plus overtime and performance bonuses.

Ideal candidates will have experience as Diesel Mechanics and possess knowledge of diesel engine systems. Benefits include health, dental, vision insurance, and 401(k) contributions.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Diesel Mechanic, Truck Mechanic, Bus Mechanic, or Heavy-Duty Technician.
• Knowledge of diesel engines and commercial vehicle systems.
• Valid driver's license required.

• Inspect brakes, steering, fuel, and electrical systems.
• Complete preventive maintenance and scheduled servicing.

This position is not remote. We have multiple onsite locations across the United States for our client.

Multiple openings are available with our clients across the United States.

Compensation:

$50,000–$80,000 per year + overtime and performance bonus

Depending on location, shift, experience, and technical specialization.

About the Role:

For one of our clients, a leading automotive and fleet maintenance company, we are hiring experienced Diesel Mechanics to maintain and repair trucks, buses, and other heavy-duty fleet vehicles.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicle systems
• Inspect brakes, steering, suspension, transmissions, fuel, and electrical systems
• Complete preventive maintenance and scheduled servicing
• Use computerized diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical faults
• Repair or replace defective mechanical and electrical components
• Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation
• Follow workshop safety and quality standards

Requirements:

• Experience as a Diesel Mechanic, Truck Mechanic, Bus Mechanic, or Heavy-Duty Technician
• Knowledge of diesel engines and commercial vehicle systems
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and technical manuals
• ASE certification is an advantage but not mandatory
• Valid driver’s license required
• CDL is an advantage where relevant
