Schedule: This full-time position requires a flexible schedule to meet business needs, with standard hours and occasional overtime based on workload and deadlines.

YOUR DAY AS A DIESEL FLEET MECHANIC

You will assess and perform routine and preventative maintenance on our fleet of semi-trucks. Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, repairing diesel vehicles, documenting tasks thoroughly, managing tools and parts inventory, collaborating with technicians, maintaining safety standards, organizing the shop, and staying updated with industry knowledge through training. You may also use company vehicles and perform other duties as assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role with a strong mechanical background
• Commercial driver's license with a clean driving record
• Certification for annual inspections and brake adjustments or ability to obtain it following federal guidelines
• Vocational/technical school or apprenticeship in diesel repair or related field
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the role
