We are seeking a full-time, entry-level day shift Diesel Fleet Mechanic for our transportation group, CICKO Transportation. This is a great opportunity to develop your mechanical skills in a supportive environment with growth potential.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers
2. Perform minor repairs on trucks and trailers
3. Diagnose and repair wiring for lights
4. Fix air leaks in braking systems
5. Replace brake components including drums
6. Change and rotate tires as needed
7. Move trailers safely and efficiently around the lot
8. Shuttle vehicles to and from dealerships or service locations
9. Wash and detail trucks and trailers
10. Maintain a clean and organized shop environment

Requirements:

1. Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
2. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor
3. Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus but not required)
4. Strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset
5. Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
6. Willingness to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions
7. Previous experience in a shop or vehicle maintenance is a plus but not required
