My Ride to Work, LLC. is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for Elko and Winnemucca, NV.

You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a fleet of motor coaches under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager to minimize downtime and ensure a positive experience for customers. We offer a $5000 sign-on bonus, competitive pay based on experience, and benefits including PTO and health plan.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• CDL Class B or willing to acquire one.
• 2+ years diesel engine experience required.
• DOT physical capable.
• Background check completed.
• Willing to work weekends/holidays.
• Able to work autonomously and in a team.
• Knowledge of HVAC, engines (Cummins/Detroit), transmissions, air brakes, steering/suspension and electrical.
• Provide your own tools.
• Dependable transportation.
• Lift up to 50 lbs on occasion.
• Desire to learn and grow with the company.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles and equipment to identify mechanical issues and determine the root cause using diagnostic tools.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks and inspections of belts/hoses.
• Repair or replace faulty parts including engines, fuel injectors, electrical systems and worn components.
• Test repaired equipment and troubleshoot issues to ensure proper function.
• Keep detailed maintenance records for each vehicle or equipment item.
