Supervisor of Diesel Maintenance

Benore Logistic Systems, Inc. is seeking a MaintenanceSupervisor to oversee and lead our maintenance operations. In thisleadership role, you will be responsible for managing company assets,including commercial vehicles, trailers, yard switchers, forklifts,golf carts, GPS devices, and handheld scanners. You will supervisemaintenance technicians, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintainoptimal equipment performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and Manage Maintenance Teams –Supervise Maintenance Coordinators and Diesel Technicians,overseeing daily activities, performance, andtraining.
- Ensure TimelyMaintenance & Repairs – Oversee scheduled maintenanceand repairs for all company equipment, ensuring completionwithin prescribed timelines.
- MaintainAccurate Service Records – Keep detailed electronicrecords for all assets to ensure compliance with internal andexternal audits.
- Inventory Management –Manage ordering, receiving, and tracking of maintenance parts,tools, and equipment.
- RegulatoryCompliance – Ensure adherence to DOT and OSHA safetyregulations, including documentation of electronic DVIRs, repairrecords, and annual inspections.
- FinalInspections & Work Order Management – Conduct finalinspections of repairs and close out work orders in the TMT softwaresystem.
- Accident Investigations &Compliance – Collaborate with other departments toinvestigate accidents and maintain compliance with companypolicies.
- Emergency Repairs – Determinesolutions for emergency vehicle repairs and coordinatemaintenance responses for vehicles in route.
- Administrative Oversight – Manage employee scheduling,payroll submissions, and time-off requests.
- Regulatory & Environmental Compliance – Stay currentwith EPA, DOT, and other regulatory requirements, ensuringcompany compliance.
- Promote a Safe &Engaging Work Environment – Foster a culture of teamwork,high performance, and employee motivation.
- Quality Standards Compliance – Maintain adherence to C-TPATbest practices, ISO-9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and OHSAS 45001 certifications.
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: High school diploma orequivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degreepreferred.
- Experience: 5+ years invehicle maintenance and 5+ years in a supervisory or maintenancemanagement role.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of vehicle computer systems, maintenancecoordination, service writing, and inventory control.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability toanalyze performance metrics and implement continuous improvementinitiatives.
- Leadership & CommunicationSkills: Experience in coaching, performance reviews, andemployee engagement.
- Certifications &Special Skills:
- Proficiency inMicrosoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Experience with TMT maintenance software or similar systemspreferred.
- Master mechanic experiencepreferred.
- Class C driver’s license required;Class A preferred.
- Ability to operate a companyservice vehicle and perform off-site repairs asneeded.
- Must meet DOT driver physicalrequirements and maintain a valid medical certification card.
