Job summary

Cummins Inc. is seeking a Field Service Diesel Technician/Mechanic for the Charlotte, NC area. You will diagnose and complete less complex repairs to engines at the customer’s site, while maintaining detailed records and adhering to safety policies.

The role offers a sign-on bonus up to $5,000, relocation support, and a competitive benefits package. Flexibility includes on-site work with some remote options depending on location.

Qualifications

• Basic level field service work experience.
• Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products.
• Customer service experience.
• 3 years driving experience.
• DOT driving regulations and Hours of Service compliance.

Responsibilities

• Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop.
• Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools.
• Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles.
• Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies.
• Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products.
• Maintain own tools.
