RDO Truck Centers is seeking a Service Technician to repair equipment to high quality standards in a safe, timely manner. You may work under direct supervision depending on expertise and will pursue overtime as needed.

Responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, documenting repairs, and maintaining tools, while communicating solutions and staying current on product knowledge. A strong safety focus and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have strong mechanical ability and tool proficiency.
• Experience documenting repairs and parts usage on work orders.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to work from instructions and in a team.
• Graduation from a diesel technology program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, recondition, repair, assemble, and service equipment as assigned.
• Document machine information and repairs on work orders including parts used.
• Maintain a clean work area and care for shop tools and equipment.
• Identify and communicate solutions for customer service opportunities.
• Stay current on technical knowledge of equipment sold by the dealership.
• Follow safety rules and company policies; maintain professional image.
• Participate in available training to develop knowledge and skills.
• Engage in location communications and teamwork initiatives.
• Maintain positive working relationships with peers and management.
