Job summary

MasterTech in Leeds, AL is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to maintain, diagnose, and repair heavy equipment including vac trucks, street sweepers, pumps, and plows for our fleet.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in diesel mechanics, solid knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, and experience with OEM diagnostic software. Welding or fabrication ability is a plus, with a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic or related field.
• Foundational knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Experience with OEM diagnostic software or other scanners.
• Welding and fabrication experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, diagnose, and repair heavy equipment such as vac trucks, street sweepers, pumps, and plows.
• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnostics to ensure equipment uptime.
• Collaborate with team to resolve mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic issues.
