Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel and gasoline engine-driven heavy trucks and equipment at the Asheboro site. You will diagnose electrical and hydraulic systems, weld/fabricate parts, and keep detailed maintenance records as part of a safety-focused, on-site team.

The role requires 3+ years in plant or heavy equipment maintenance, 1+ year in diesel mechanics, and the ability to read precision instruments. CDL A is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in plant and/or heavy equipment maintenance.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a diesel mechanical role.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred or 5 years verifiable maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, build, rebuild, and repair all parts of equipment, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Perform inspection, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, hydraulic systems, suspension, brake, and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
• Welding and fabricating to repair and build trucks and secondary equipment.
• Complete equipment maintenance records.
• Perform repairs, including emergency repairs in the field.
• Conduct service road calls.
• Order supplies and parts.
