Job summary

Magneto & Diesel Injector Service Inc in Portland, OR is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support shop production and repair processes. You will join a dedicated team in a long-standing aftermarket remanufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include assembling, welding, and operating machinery through multiple production stages, while maintaining safety, quality, and a clean workspace. This position provides growth within a strong manufacturing network.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklift and ability to become certified.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to repeat motions.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Follow all safety policies.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Use various hand tools, torque wrench, presses, air compressor, hoist, sandblaster, paint gun, grinder, band saw, and other equipment.
• Prep products for assembly.
• Assemble products in various stages of production.
• Welding products in various stages of production, dependent upon skill level.
• Operates various machines throughout the assembly and production process.
• Intake and disassemble engine cylinder heads and various products serviced by location.
• General shop responsibilities.
• Maintains a clean work environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
