Job summary

The Manufacturing Technician role in Portland, OR supports shop productivity through production and repair processes. You will use hand tools and equipment, prep products for assembly, and assemble items at various production stages.

Welding may be required according to skill level. Candidates should have forklift experience, the ability to follow instructions, strong mechanical aptitude, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs in a loud, dusty shop.

• Welding products in various stages of production, dependent upon skill level.
• Operates various machines throughout the assembly and production process.
• Intake and disassemble engine cylinder heads and various products serviced by location.
• General shop responsibilities.
• Maintains a clean work environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

• Experience in forklift operation; ability to become forklift certified.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to repeat motions.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Follow all safety policies.
