Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a highly motivated Engineer to support development, validation, and performance optimization of diesel engine aftertreatment systems. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in diesel engines, emissions systems, aftertreatment systems, or powertrain validation.
• Experience with SCR, DPF, DOC, DEF/urea systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience analyzing engineering test data and developing technical recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Support development and validation of diesel engine aftertreatment systems and emissions control technologies.
• Evaluate performance of SCR, DPF, DOC, DEF, and related emissions reduction systems.
• Conduct testing and validation activities on engines, vehicles, and laboratory test setups.
• Analyze test data and identify performance issues, trends, and optimization opportunities.
• Perform root cause analysis and lead troubleshooting efforts related to emissions system performance.
• Interface with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues and drive improvements.
• Prepare technical reports and communicate findings to engineering and leadership teams.
